The item came the next day, nicely sealed with a neat little bag to store it in. It is definitely more durable than the one my laptop came with. Actually, it is like 10 times more compact and sturdier than the one before. My boyfriend actually recommended it, and he works in the computer field and is a gamer. It was a great recommendation.

Recently bought two aftermarket chargers for my dell V10P 5056 tablet. This is the more expensive one. The quality is decent. This one can charge my tablet with no issues as my tablet needs only 30W power. Works not as well as the original charger but pretty close. Actually, both of the two chargers look similar and work almost the same. They are basically PD chargers which can work with dell tablets/laptops. They have the same PDOs including 5V@3A, 9V@3A, 12V@3A, 15V@3A, and 20V@2.25A. So, they are technically also compatible with UFP devices such as hp elite x2, hp spectre x360, chromebook, MacBook pro, iPad pro, Nintendo Switch, etc. Comparing to the other one, this one has a shorter DC cable but a slightly better power cord. The main difference is that this one has more certification marks than the other one. It’s hard to tell which one is better as it depends on what you are looking for. For me, the better one should last for a longer time.

This is my third adapter. My first failed and then I ordered a replacement, but problems just continued. Since the err occurred the battery never charged nor held a charge and if the charger jack fell off, the laptop just dies. I dealt with that for a couple years and then thought I should just order a new one. I was hesitant, but after purchasing this one my laptop was fixed. After rebooting my laptop, I don't get those warnings on start up anymore and the battery holds a charge. When I unplug the charger jack the laptop doesn't die, so I know the battery is not the issue at all. Problem fixed. I am happy.

This charger is a great replacement for my Dell XPS 13 charger that broke after 4 years (and mistreatment...) It came with a cute case which was a welcome surprise.
